PANDEMONIUM

21st century. The era of callousness. Some might say that I am an old sad woman. Old? Maybe, although I am in early 50s and rather going through my midlife rebirth. Sad? Well, the world around me became miserable, so yes, sometimes I am sad, but I am generally a very optimistic person, and my glass is usually half full and getting topped up frequently. Sometimes though, the world seems to deliberately mess up with your structure.

If you really think that the environment is less important than the economy, try holding your breath while you count your money. Guy McPherson

Top subject these days – Global warming / Climate change. It brings me to tears watching the news and reactions, when the subject is being brought up. Lots of chatting – zero action. The same old same old. Like a broken record. I’m truly sick of listening to this BS. It’s sad that the huge event like COP26 seems like a farce rather than a serious game changer. Either they are stupid, or play stupid. Most of them. Those, who are responsible for the mess we are in, simply disregard and dismiss all the signs of self-destruction. They really think that their money is going to save them from everything. Maybe they will be saved from angry people, but Mother Nature is smarter than all the people, and She will find a way to fight back. Covid 19 and natural disasters to start with. We know that life in the nature is down to survival of the fittest, so logically in the society, the fittest are the richest. At some point though, the poor and the weak will be gone, and those who are on top now, will become the bottom of the pyramid. That will be the moment of Great Awaking, unfortunately too late for the money to work at that point. Pity that we always have to learn hard way. Sadly, no way is hard enough for some people anyway.

It begs a question, if something happens who is really going to survive? By “something happens”, I mean nature fighting back, which, in a way, is already happening, but is solely dismissed by those who don’t care. So I am asking – how is it going to end? Is it the youngest generation, who is supposed to be born adapted to easy going, commercial, organised (by others) lifestyle? The generation immaculately protected from real life suffering, by controlling what they say, see, hear; by protecting them from stress and hardships to the extreme? By medicating them with supplements, and various “treatments” available, to “maintain” their health and beauty? The self-obsessed generation of Millennials, who hardly can deal with any criticism and require constant praise? How ready are they for any extreme? Something what is known to them as a picture from a tv screen; something that will never happen, a fantasy; and many of them treat it as such. Of course not all the Millennials are brought up this way. There is a big chunk of young people, who grew up in different reality; more “close to Earth”. These are kids from less advantaged families. They had no option but to face difficult times, and they are not scared to face another challenge. However, even in this groups the youngsters are brought up in a bubble of an extreme self-preservation, and disregard to others from outside the circle; which is in itself a dangerous feature.

My bet is on the older generation. Brought up with very little of technology around; self reliant, resistant, strong, and most of all respectful. I’m talking about people born in 60s, 70s, and most of those born in 80s. People of my generation. We are not, of course, the perfect ones, and even we had black sheep of the era; nevertheless, even those achieved some level of normality when it came to respect; be it only in the family, or some other close circle surrounding them. What I am trying to say here is: the old generation was/is more about (however small) group, or society; while the young generation is extremely egocentric and difficult to understand.

If facing the extreme act of nature, it is vital to gather together and be able to trust each other. It is a mandatory to work together; not against, but with the nature. We cannot achieve it while fighting against each other. This is exactly what Mother Nature is angry about. The modern society represents Mother Nature’s children and it became diseased. A huge chunk developed ADHD (money making companies – MMC), which MN (Mother Nature) was keen to work with until they became a danger to MN itself. Other children became bullied by MMC’s and were forced to follow their sick leadership. MN wasn’t happy and still tried to warn MMCs that what they do is wrong. MN sent signals in form of enhanced wave of natural disaster’s, which unfortunately didn’t bring much effect. However, those signals were also picked up by bullied offspring, who recognised that it is a time to finish the fake, toxic leadership and stand up to bullies. The enlightenment came onto them quite late though, and MN might have to decide that the deadline for improvement is delayed too much, and it is time to take an action. It is going to be a natural selection – survival of the fittest, as the nature does since it exists. Survival of the fittest, NOT THE RICHEST, the fittest! That’s why I believe that no matter how great and popular you are, you can’t beat the skill and knowledge. These are all that matter – not your wallet size.

Yet another example of bullying. On a big scale this time, yet so relevant. It makes you realise how important it is to act early, to prevent the devastating consequences, if not caught early and dealt with.

I do realise that this post is not exactly reflecting the main subject of my blog, but I think that this subject is far too important, not to mention it. It makes my blood boil to see how this world is turning to be. My own problems seem so small in comparison, yet there are so many similarities in between… It is sad to see that I recovered from my own fall just to see the global collapse in the end. It cannot happen, not on my watch.

I dare you all to comment with your views on today’s world. I’m sure, I am not the only one who still sees the bright future.
